I believe great product work starts with understanding the problem. I've spent years partnering with customer-facing teams, engineers, and data analysts to deeply understand what our users actually need, then building the teams and processes to turn those insights into products that ship.
My work has spanned federation systems, API ownership, stakeholder alignment across complex organizations, and scaling product teams from early stages through hyper-growth.
I'm based in Ireland and available for fractional work, consulting, or head-of-product roles with companies and teams committed to doing product work thoughtfully.
How I think about product work
Discovery is not optional
There is no AI substitute for spending time with customers to deeply understand the problems they face. Product teams need direct access to engineering, customers, and data. Without those three elements, we cannot perform our jobs.
Building teams is an art
The best product teams are built by identifying strengths, spotting gaps, and complementing skills. This isn't just about hiring. It's about understanding how people work, what motivates them, and how to create an environment where they do their best work.
